When do I pay tuition?
Usually only after INZ issues Approval in Principle (AIP) — safer than paying the full fee before a visa decision.
How many hours can I work?
Eligible tertiary students can work 25 hours/week during term (up from 20 since Nov 2025) and full-time during scheduled holidays.
Will INZ interview me?
Possibly — INZ may phone-verify your intentions. Answers should match your SOP, funds story and academic history exactly.
