Admission to boarding,

Step 1
Secure admission and pay tuition
The university issues the original ministry-format admission certificate — the core visa document — plus proof of tuition payment (or a letter confirming free study).
Step 2
Get your certificates recognised
Apostille Class 12/degree certificates via MEA (state RAC authentication first); bachelor's applicants also need the NAWA recognition statement on the school-leaving certificate.
Step 3
Arrange B2 language proof
Since 1 July 2025 Poland requires proof of at least B2 in the language of instruction — IELTS 6.5, TOEFL iBT 79 or CAE 176 are the recommended English proofs.
Step 4
Book accommodation and insurance
Accommodation proof must show the monthly cost; travel medical insurance needs €30,000 cover from an approved insurer, valid for the whole stay.
Step 5
Submit at VFS with biometrics
Pay €200 (≈₹21,120) + ₹1,026 service charge, submit the file in the checklist order with a one-way flight reservation and cover letter.
Step 6
Decision within 30 days, then residence card in Poland
Consulate decides within 30 calendar days; after arrival you apply for a karta pobytu (residence card) to stay beyond the visa's validity.

Can I get a Poland study visa without IELTS?
Since 1 July 2025 Poland demands proof of B2-level proficiency in your language of instruction. For English-medium courses the consulate's own checklist recommends IELTS 6.5, TOEFL iBT 79 or CAE 176 — so realistically plan for a test unless your certificate is on Poland's accepted list.
How many hours can I work in Poland as a student?
Full-time students at recognised Polish universities can work without a work permit and Polish law sets no hourly cap for them — but the right depends on staying enrolled full-time, and your studies must not suffer.
How much money do I need to show — and do I lose it?
PLN 1,010 per month of stay plus PLN 2,500 for return travel plus your accommodation cost (≈₹3.7–4.5 lakh for a year). It is proof, not a payment — the money stays in your or your sponsor's account.
What happens if my Poland student visa is refused?
You can file an appeal (re-examination) — the appeal fee is another €200 — but it is usually smarter to fix the actual refusal ground (funds format, B2 proof, missing recognition/apostille) and reapply with a corrected file. No consultant can guarantee approval.
