How much bank balance do I need?
PMLP's published figure is €500/month (≈₹45,000); newer guidance ties it to the €780 minimum wage. Prepare at the higher level to be safe — either way the money stays in your account, it is not paid to anyone.
What is the AIC certificate?
Latvia's Academic Information Centre verifies your Indian qualifications. Your university initiates it, and the certificate must accompany your signed study agreement in the visa file.
Can I work part-time?
Yes — 20 h/week during semesters and 40 h/week during official holidays for bachelor's students; master's and PhD students may work full-time.
