The Ahujas' son moved to Toronto on PR in 2022. Their first grandchild was born in 2025. They wanted to spend real time helping raise the baby — not short tourist trips.
The Canadian Super Visa is perfect for this: 10-year multi-entry, with each stay up to 5 years (2022 change from 2 years). But it has strict requirements: income proof from the child in Canada, and mandatory ₹10-12 lakh emergency medical insurance for 1 year (non-refundable).
