⏱ ~30 seconds🌍 5 refusal frameworks🔒 Letter not stored🏛 Govt-licensed firm

SureshotVisa, a Government-of-Punjab-licensed visa consultancy operated by Pro Lifeset Overseas Pvt Ltd (Licence 849/DC/PTA/PLA/LC-3/2024), launched the Refusal Decoder in July 2026 — India's first free online tool that reads a visa refusal letter and explains exactly which ground the visa officer cited and what it means. Try it on the refusal-recovery page or the SureshotVisa homepage.

How it works — three steps, no sign-up

1Snap or save your letterA clear phone photo, a screenshot, or the original PDF — all work.
2Upload it to the DecoderThe letter is read in about 30 seconds. Nothing to install, nothing to pay.
3Read your decoded groundsEvery cited section, tick-box or numbered reason — named and explained. The deeper analysis is free too, on WhatsApp.

What the codes on your letter actually mean

Every destination refuses visas in its own legal shorthand. This is the shorthand the Decoder reads:

Section 214(b)USA · B1/B2

The officer was not convinced you would return home — the most common ground for US visitor refusals. It is about your ties to India, not paperwork alone.

Section 221(g)USA

Not a final refusal: your application is in administrative processing or missing documents.

Ticked boxes + GCMSCanada · IRCC

The letter is boilerplate — the officer's real reasoning lives in your GCMS notes, obtainable via an ATIP request (30+ days).

Appendix V · V 4.2United Kingdom

The Visitor Rules: the officer doubted you are a genuine visitor, will leave the UK, or can fund the trip.

Reasons 1–9Schengen · all 29 states

A standard tick-form. Reason 8 = the information on purpose and conditions of stay was not reliable; reason 9 = your intention to leave could not be ascertained.

GTE / Genuine StudentAustralia

The officer was not satisfied your stay is genuinely temporary (visitor) or that you are a genuine student.

Why this matters for Indian applicants

120,531Indian visitor applications refused by the UK in 2025
~15%of Indian Schengen files are refused
Dec 2024IRCC refusals of Indian visitor applications spiked sharply

Most refused applicants reapply — many with the same unaddressed weakness, because the letter never told them what it was.

From boilerplate to plain English

✗ What the embassy sends

✗ REFUSED — Reason 8 ticked

✓ What the Decoder tells you

Reason 8 — purpose of stay not reliable. The embassy did not find your stated travel purpose convincing as presented. Your rebuilt file must fix: itinerary & purpose documentation, cover letter consistency.
Honest reapply verdict: reapplying with an unchanged file usually meets the same decision — fix the ground first.
What the Decoder will NEVER do: give approval odds, success percentages or guarantees. It tells you what the letter says and how addressable each ground is — the decision on any future application always rests with the visa officer. If a tool or agent promises a "guaranteed visa", that is the surest sign to walk away.

What to do after decoding your letter

Canadian refusal? Order your GCMS notes to see the officer's full reasoning. Any refusal: a licensed consultant's read of your letter and file — the Refusal First Look, ₹1,499 all-in — and refused-case reapplications rebuilt end-to-end at published prices.

Frequently asked questions

What is the SureshotVisa Refusal Decoder?

A free online tool that reads a visa refusal letter — photo or PDF — and explains in plain English exactly which ground the officer cited. Launched in July 2026, it covers Canada (IRCC), USA, UK, Schengen and Australia letters and takes about 30 seconds.

Is the Refusal Decoder really free?

Yes. The decoded grounds and their meanings are free, and the deeper analysis (how addressable your grounds are, plus an honest reapply verdict) is also free, delivered on WhatsApp. A human deep-dive — the Refusal First Look at ₹1,499 all-in — is optional.

Why was my US visa refused under Section 214(b)?

Section 214(b) means the officer was not convinced you would return home after your visit — it is the most common refusal ground for US B1/B2 visitor visas, and it is about your ties to India, not your paperwork alone.

What does Schengen refusal reason 8 mean?

Reason 8 on the standard Schengen refusal form means the information you submitted about the purpose and conditions of your stay was not considered reliable. It usually points to a weak or inconsistent itinerary, cover letter or supporting documents.

What are GCMS notes and do I need them?

GCMS notes are the Canadian visa officer's full case notes — the real reasoning behind an IRCC refusal, which the letter itself never shows. They are obtained through an ATIP request and typically take 30+ days. For most Canadian refusals, ordering them is the right first step before reapplying.

Can any tool predict whether my next visa will be approved?

No. Approval is always the visa officer's decision, and no honest tool or consultant gives odds or guarantees. Anyone promising a "guaranteed visa" is the clearest red flag in this industry.

Does SureshotVisa store my refusal letter?

No. The letter file is not stored — only the extracted analysis is saved. Documents shared later for a human file review go to private storage and are seen only by your consultant, never by AI.

How soon can I reapply after a visa refusal?

Most countries have no mandatory waiting period — but an unchanged file usually meets the same decision. Decode the refusal ground first, fix that part of the file genuinely, and reapply when the weakness is actually addressed.
