Rules that apply to every Turkey visa type — worth a quick read so nothing trips up your file.
- 1Türkiye is NOT a Schengen country; this visa does not allow Schengen travel.
- 2Business is the only category eligible for a MULTIPLE-ENTRY visa (6 or 12 months), subject to mission verification.
- 3This visa does NOT permit employment in Türkiye — a work permit is required for that.
- 4Passport must be valid 6+ months on arrival with at least 2 full blank pages.
- 5Apply at the Turkey Visa Application Centre that matches the jurisdiction of the Turkish Mission for your region (New Delhi, Mumbai or Hyderabad). If your passport was NOT issued within the jurisdiction of the mission you apply to, you must also submit local address proof (a registered/notarized rental agreement, or a company letter for remote workers; Voter ID, electricity/water bill or PCC may also be requested).

The total payable is the visa fee PLUS the Türkiye Visa Application (VFS service) fee, which varies by the validity you request: 3-month single entry ≈ INR 5,400 + 12,720; 6-month single entry ≈ INR 5,400 + 14,840; 6-month multiple entry (business only) ≈ INR 16,200 + 14,840; 12-month multiple entry (business only) ≈ INR 16,200 + 16,960. At appointment booking, INR 6,890 of the total is charged online; the balance is paid at the VFS office by cash, UPI or POS (credit/debit card). Multiple-entry visas are granted only after the Turkish Mission verifies eligibility. Fees are set by the Türkiye Mission and VFS and are subject to change — confirm the current amount on the VFS Global Türkiye India website before paying.

Confirm your route and jurisdiction
If you hold a valid Schengen/US/UK/Ireland visa or residence permit you may use the e-Visa; otherwise book a sticker-visa appointment at the Turkey Visa Application Centre (VFS) for your jurisdiction. Decide single vs multiple entry.

+Who has to sign my Turkey business invitation, and what must it say?
The inviting company signs it, on its letterhead, naming you personally, the exact dates, the purpose of the meetings and — crucially — who is paying for what. Officers verify these: a letter with no signatory title, no company registration detail and no reachable phone number is worse than no letter, because it fails a verification call. Your own side matters just as much: a leave sanction or board resolution, your employment or directorship proof, and a travel history that fits the seniority the letter claims for you.
+Can I attend meetings, sign contracts or get paid on this visa?
Meetings, negotiations, conferences, trade fairs and training you attend are normally fine. What is not permitted is gainful employment — being paid by an entity in Turkey, or doing work that a local would otherwise be hired for, even unpaid in some categories. That line is where business visas get refused and, worse, where they get cancelled at the border. If your trip involves anything close to it, tell us the actual plan and we will tell you which route it needs.

Three things sit between today and your trip: preparing the file properly, waiting for an appointment, and the mission's own processing. Turkey currently states Varies at the discretion of the Türkiye Embassy/Consulate; apply at least 10 working days before departure for the decision itself. We control the first, which is usually days. The middle depends on slot releases. The third is entirely the mission's and no consultant can shorten it — anyone telling you otherwise is selling something they cannot deliver.
