How many months of bank statements does the UK need?
Current UKVI visitor guidance does not set one universal statement period for every applicant. Financial evidence should show accessible funds, their origin and consistency with your declared circumstances. Follow any specific request in your application and explain significant deposits. We can help review the evidence for your case.
What is the 'genuine visitor' test?
UKVI must be satisfied you genuinely intend to visit and leave at the end of your stay, can fund the trip, and won't work illegally. Strong ties to India and credible finances are how you pass it.
Do I need a sponsor?
Not necessarily. If you fund the trip yourself with sufficient consistent funds, no sponsor is needed. If a UK relative supports you, a complete sponsor pack helps.
Can you guarantee the visa?
No. The decision rests with UKVI. We make the financial story and purpose consistent and credible to maximise your chances.
How far ahead can I apply?
Up to 3 months before travel. Recommended: 4-6 weeks before travel — enough buffer for processing + priority option if urgent.

Salary slips, ITR/Form-16 or business proof that lines up with the money in your account. Mismatches between income and savings cause refusals.
Sponsor documents (if visiting family)
If a UK relative supports your trip, their letter, immigration status, accommodation proof and their own finances strengthen the file.
Purpose & travel plan
Explain your dates, activities, accommodation plans and funding. UKVI lists flight and hotel bookings as less useful visitor evidence; do not treat paid bookings as mandatory visa documents.
