The Croatia Visit Visa (Schengen Type C) is for Indian citizens visiting family members or friends resident in Croatia. You complete the application online at crovisa.mvep.hr, then submit in person at VFS Global with biometrics; the Embassy of the Republic of Croatia decides the outcome. A host's invitation / Letter of Guarantee and proof of the host's legal residence are central to this category.

The €90 visa fee is paid in INR at the VFS centre (cash/card/UPI) and is non-refundable regardless of the outcome. Children under 6 are exempt; children aged 6–12 pay €45. Family members of Croatian/EEA citizens, holders of diplomatic/service passports on official duty, students/teachers on study programmes, and researchers may be fee-exempt. VFS service and optional charges are additional. The visa fee is subject to change without notice — verify on the Croatia VFS Global India page before applying.

In original, or a copy if deposited at the MFA in Croatia; with proof of the host's permanent income (pay/pension slips for 3 months) or bank funds. Includes host's address, contact and stay dates.
Copy of residence/stay permit, or for a Croatian/EEA host: copy of ID card.
Birth or marriage certificate from the register, plus the host's ID copy.
Return travel reservation (air/bus/boat); reservation only — no confirmed tickets.
