Get accepted in Thailand
Secure the letter of acceptance from the Thai university/school/institution and pay at least the first semester's tuition for the payment slip.
Collect institution documents
Obtain the institution's licence/certificate from Thai authorities and, where applicable, the Ministry of Education approval (or Office of Buddhism approval for monks).
Prepare finances & accommodation
Arrange an original bank-attested 6-month statement (≈ USD 700, or a sponsor's), proof of tuition/living-cost funding, and accommodation proof.
Submit at the VFS centre
Complete and sign the form, submit the full file at your jurisdiction's VFS Thailand centre, and pay the visa fee plus service charge.
Track, collect and extend
After the 3–5 working-day processing and entry to Thailand, extend your stay at a Thai immigration office for the duration of your course.
