Estonia Official Delegation Visa (Schengen Short-Stay, Type C) — Informational
Estonia Schengen visa for members of official delegations. Initiated via the sending authority's note verbale. Informational guide only — process runs through your government office.
No visa is ever guaranteed — the final decision always rests with the Estonia visa authority. We make sure your file is presented at its strongest.
Official Delegation visas are issued via your government office's Note Verbale, not via private consultancy. This page is informational only. SureshotVisa CAN help if you're a private accompanying member of a delegation needing standard Type C documents — contact us for that case.

What works
3 levers that flip a borderline case.
- Get the Note Verbale from your ministry / government office at least 4 weeks before travel — these take time internally.
- Diplomatic and service passport holders skip the visa fee — bring the passport for verification.
- If you're a private accompanying member (e.g., spouse of a delegation member), you may apply under Tourist or Visiting Family — not Official Delegation.
What kills cases
Top 3 refusal triggers we see.
- 1Note Verbale missing or incomplete (must include identity, purpose, period, place)
- 2Estonian authority invitation missing
- 3Applying when actually a private traveller, not part of an official delegation
