Ukraine offers several long-stay 'D type' work categories — for example employment at a Ukrainian company/organisation, or at a registered branch of a foreign company, bank, mass-media outlet or NGO in Ukraine. These require a Ukrainian employer and a work permit before a visa can be issued. This page explains the route at a high level; for any work-visa filing you must approach the Ukrainian employer, the relevant Ukrainian authorities, or a licensed work-immigration specialist.
