The Czech Republic Tourist Visa is a Schengen Short-Stay (Type C) visa for Indian travellers visiting the Czech Republic for leisure, sightseeing, or holiday purposes. Stay is up to 90 days within any 180-day period across the entire Schengen area. Indian-resident applicants must apply via VFS Global India — direct walk-ins to the Embassy are not accepted. Tourist applications must be submitted at least 15 calendar days before travel.

Approximate total for an adult tourist / business visa: ₹12,300 (₹10,100 + ₹2,200) plus optional courier ₹840. Family members of EU / Czech Republic nationals may be exempt from the visa fee — VFS service charge still applies.

Submit documents at VFS on appointment day

Processing: up to 15 calendar days from when the Embassy receives your file. Outside Delhi, add 3 working days for forwarding.
Collect passport — courier or in-person

VFS will not accept post-submission missing documents. You must email them within 3 working days to newdelhi.shortterm@mzv.gov.cz with subject 'Missing documents – Name Surname and passport number'. Other Embassy emails are disregarded.
