The Poland family/friends visit visa is a Schengen Type C short-stay visa for Indians travelling to visit relatives or friends living in Poland. It uses the same short-stay framework as the tourist visa, with the key difference being an invitation from your host plus proof of the host's legal residence in Poland. Applications in India go through VFS Global for the Embassy/Consulate General of Poland.

Short-stay (Type C) visa fee is €90 for adults (₹10,100) and €45 for children aged 6–12 (₹5,100); children under 6 are exempt. Students, school pupils and accompanying teachers travelling for study/educational training, researchers, non-profit representatives aged 25 or under attending qualifying events, and family members of EU/EEA/Swiss citizens are also fee-exempt. A VFS service charge of ₹1,026 (incl. SGST 9% + CGST 9%) is mandatory per application and paid online when booking the appointment. INR amounts follow the current exchange rate and may change without notice. Optional courier ₹960 per passport. Visa fee is non-refundable if refused; the service fee is non-refundable once the appointment is confirmed.

One recent colour photo (not older than 6 months), 35mm x 45mm, passport-type, face filling 70–80% of the frame, white/off-white background, full face, non-smiling, no headgear except for religious reasons. Photo must not have been used in a previous passport.
