The Poland tourist visa is a Schengen Type C short-stay visa for Indians travelling for holidays, sightseeing, entertainment or to visit friends and family. Poland is one of the 29 Schengen-area countries, so this visa also lets you travel freely across the rest of the Schengen zone within its validity. Applications in India are made through VFS Global on behalf of the Embassy/Consulate General of the Republic of Poland — you complete the application form, book a VFS appointment, and submit the file in person for biometrics.

Short-stay (Type C) visa fee is €90 for adults (₹10,100) and €45 for children aged 6–12 (₹5,100); children under 6 are exempt. Students, school pupils and accompanying teachers travelling for study/educational training, researchers, non-profit representatives aged 25 or under attending qualifying events, and family members of EU/EEA/Swiss citizens are also fee-exempt. A VFS service charge of ₹1,026 (incl. SGST 9% + CGST 9%) is mandatory per application and paid online when booking the appointment. INR amounts follow the current exchange rate and may change without notice. Optional courier ₹960 per passport. Visa fee is non-refundable if refused; the service fee is non-refundable once the appointment is confirmed.

Processing is 15 calendar days from when the application reaches the Embassy/Consulate, and can be extended up to 45 days in some cases. Applications lodged at a satellite VFS centre take an extra 48–72 hours in transit to New Delhi/Mumbai. Apply at least 15 days before travel.
