- Biometrics are stored by SIRI and valid 59 months — re-collection only if expired or unavailable.
- For Work Permits, the Danish employer usually initiates the process and shares required documentation with you.
- Family Reunification has strict financial / housing requirements on the Danish sponsor — verify eligibility before applying.

We specialise in short-stay Schengen visas where our Indian-side expertise adds the most value. Long-term Danish permits require engagement with SIRI and often with Danish employers — best handled directly via nyidanmark.dk or a licensed Danish immigration lawyer.
The official Danish Immigration Service portal for all long-term applications — work, study, family reunification, residence. It's the single entry point since 2010; paper applications are no longer accepted for most long-term categories.
Positive List (for jobs in shortage areas), Pay Limit Scheme (for high-salary jobs), Fast-Track Scheme (for certified companies), Researcher / Guest Researcher, Specialist Scheme, Established Businessmen, and Employed PhD.
7–10 months typically. It's the slowest category because SIRI checks housing, financial, and relationship requirements carefully. Apply well in advance.
No — you must wait for approval and the D-Visa before entering. A tourist visa does not transition into a residence permit. Some categories (Fast-Track) allow entry earlier but this is the exception.
No. D-Visa is a sticker in your passport for initial entry into Denmark. The Residence Card is the actual plastic ID you carry in Denmark — issued by SIRI within 60 days of your arrival.
